Our last visit to Harborough Theatre in 2015, and it ended with one of the best plays we'd ever seen. Of course, no play is ever going to live up to the fantastic 1945 film starring Margaret Rutherford as Madame Arcati, but even so, this was a valiant attempt and made for a very enjoyable evening. As ever it was a bit warm in the theatre and we were close to nodding off at times, but a half-time Mint Choc Chip revived us and the second half didn't seem so bad. No reflection on the performances, which were all very good indeed. We also won third prize in the raffle, a box of Fox's Biscuits.
Robin played Charles Condomine and Ruth played Edith (the maid).
