SHOPPING: Bicester Village Retail Outlet

A brief visit to the outlet today, primarily to pick up a replacement watchstrap that I had been waiting for. Rose hadn't been for a very long time and I had only shot in and out a couple of times so it was nice to walk the whole length of the place and see what was there.

Rose found a handbag in Karl Lagerfeld she liked with a cat on it and which we both expected to be over £100, but looking at the label it was actually £62. What a bargain.

I also picked up a super extravagant bottle of Blue Maquis (which shall be used sparingly) for £13.30. Absolutely bloody outrageous, but it does smell lovely. I tried to pay in cash but they told me in no uncertain terms that they were only taking cards 'for everyone's safety'. What a load of horseshit. You're only taking cards cos you don't want to have to cash up and take the money to the bank. Really, it's about time all this nonsense stopped now.

We left Bicester and skipped over the road to check out the new Nike factory outlet which was largely a disappointment but, I did find the most awesome green and black trainers (£110!) but not in my size. So it was a TOTAL disappointment after all. Bah...
