It's been a fairly lean year as far as gigs go, and it ended in typically 'amateurish' style with this 10 year Revolution anniversary show headlined by Cyferdyne and also featuring Cygnosic and C-Lekktor. We didn't see C-Lekktor but we caught a few songs of Cygnsosic and it was as expected really... fairly good music with one dimensional and quite tedious harsh vocals.
Cyferdyne got gig of the year from me in 2017, but then last time we saw them they were pretty poor and disinterested. So we didn't know which Cyferdyne we were going to get tonight. They were okay, but the fact that this year has been so poor and they still aren't really in with a shout for 'GOTY' speaks volumes. The sound seemed a little off, but they were okay... and that's it really, not great, not bad, and I can't help but think that their stage presence is somewhat lacking, It really is like watching some mates play in the back of a pub.
