SHOPPING: Bicester Village
The journey from Jury's Inn to Bicester Village was less than twenty minutes so we arrived just after ten, but already the car parks were filling up fast. It was bloody freezing so it seemed like this would be a pretty short visit. We started in Kate Spade where Rose spied a nice peacock themed handbag, then moved on with an eye to returning later. We visited the usual suspects: Kath Kidston, Radley, Swarovski (some of their stuff is hilariously awful), SuperDry... but it wasn't until we got to TAG Heuer that the day got interesting.
Years ago, on probably our first or second visit to Bicester, we saw a TAG watch with names of Swiss cities on the dial and ever since Rose had regretted not buying it. Well today, a similar (or maybe even the same watch, we remember it differently but it was a long time ago) appeared in the outlet and we weren't going to let it get away again.
And so, eight months early, I purchased Rose's present for our silver wedding anniversary in October. Which was kind of the best possible way to end a pretty excellent weekend!
