A fine alternative to a faceless 'dining experience' in the MK Centre, the Barge Inn was 'okay'. It wasn't amazing, but we weren't expecting it to be. It's a chain pub so you know what sort of thing you are going to get. We both had the burger, which came with a half inch thick slice of bacon and cheese. The chips were quite nice, the burger was okay. It was perfectly fine. The carrot cake cheesecake on the other hand, was exceptional, and even better since it was missed off the bill.
