Our fifth visit to The Curzon Arms with Lee and Su, on arrival the place was rammed and we squeezed into the cramped bar area. Fortunately when we were shown to our table we were seated at a spacious booth in the bar with a huge table.
The food was pretty good, although one end of my steak was a bit raw, Rose had Duck with nettle mash which was very, very green but very nice apparently. Unfortunately they had run out of white chocolate sorbet to go with the dark chocolate mint marquise, so Rose didn't order a pudding, but my strawberry fudge sundae was so rich I could only manage half of it so Rose had some of that.
Much talk about Lee and Su's possible new house in the country and the sale of their current home. A good night all round, as usual.
