SHOPPING: Meadowhall (Sheffield)

 

Another trip to sunny Meadowhall, ostensibly to pick up a new bracelet and a couple of links from Maxine at the TH boutique. Also stopped off at Hotel Chocolat to stock up there, and Rose bought a pair of sandals from Deichmann. 

DAY OUT: Buddulph Grange & Trentham Gardens

 

A double dose of gardens today, starting with the smaller of the two - Biddulph Grange Gardens. This features a Chinese Garden (see above) which was quite cool, if slightly over run with Chavs when we visited. Overall the gardens were nice, but it really only sustained us for an hour before we'd been down every path.

MEAL OUT: Grey Goose (Gilmorton)

 

Another meal out at the Grey Goose and it was predictably spectacular. Rose had the chicken burger while I stuck to traditional cheese burger. For pudding Rose had key lime pie while I had sticky toffee pudding. Top marks all round, though it's a shame they've taken the Biscof cheesecake off the menu...
