Our first meal out of 2023 and for once I decided to forego the spectacular but expensive fillet steak in favour of something a little more financially expedient. Of late the Goose has added a turkey and ham pie and sausages and mash to their menu, this time I plumped for the pie and it was okay - but it tasted very strongly of something, which I think might be mustard. It was okay, but I think next time it will be sausages or fillet steak for me! Rose had the bacon cheese burger which looked lovely, though she couldn't manage it all.
For pudding Rose had the strawberry Bakewell and I finally had the Biscoff cheesecake with salted caramel ice cream - very very nice, I shall definitely be having that again.
