MEAL OUT: Langton Arms (Church Langton)

Another visit to the Langton Arms, this time a slightly delayed birthday meal for Sally (who had a cold on her actual birthday). As usual we had scampi, and after a slightly potentially foolhardy choice of 'vegan' carrot cake... order was restored when the waitress informed us that actually they didn't have the frosting, whereupon I seized the opportunity to change my order to hot chocolate chip cookie and salted caramel ice cream. A lucky escape indeed!

SHOPPING: MK Centre (Milton Keynes)

 

 

Our first shopping trip this year and an opportunity to try on some of the new TH releases. Being as we park a little way away and it was only 50p an hour there I elected to pay for four hours instead of three just in case and in fact we didn't leave until well into the fourth hour. Amongst other things we bought some Caramel & Co from Hotel Chocolat and some candles from TK Maxx.
