NEW YEAR'S EVE 2021

 

After visiting Lee and Su on the 28th and having a dreadful night, two hours sleep maximum... and this trend continuing through the week with me actually spending 14 hours in bed one night (And still feeling tired), we weren't really 'excited' for New Year's Eve. But it turned out to be a good night at Alison and Mark's house. We spent most of the night talking to Jo about MAFS and various nonsense while Uncle Paul chucked in hilarious comments about Jools Holland's Hootenany!

MEAL OUT: The Wheatsheaf (Langham)

 

A mere three weeks later we were back to the Wheatsheaf, and for some reason we seem to alternate which end of the pub we sit.... the right side always seems like the better meal. This was still good, but it wasn't as good as a few weeks ago. I had the steak pie and the brownie, which was probably a mistake, especially considering how small it looked next to the sticky toffee pudding. It also came stone cold so I had to send it back, still nice and the staff are really nice here too.
