SPACEX: Seeing the Spacex Rocket for the First Time
The Spacex Rocket was visible in the South West at 10:15pm as it headed towards the International Space Station (ISS). This was the first manned spaceship to launch from the United States since the retirement of the Space Shuttle in 2011. It was quite easy to spot as it was getting quite dark and it was clearly moving at quite a pace...

HOLIDAY: Week off 18th - 25th May 2020
SAT: Did the usual Asda run in the morning. Watched MAFS Australia. Watched some Eurovision shows on TV.
SUN: Walked round Great Glen. Mowed the lawn. Watched MAFS Australia. Did some drum programming.
MON: 9AM appointment at the chiropractor with full PPE. Then went and met Mum at Waitrose and took her shopping home for her while she rode home. Nipped to the farm shop and picked up two pies and collected ingredients from Sally's shed. Mum gave us some plants and I planted them. Watched MAFS Australia. Went for a walk round the village.
TUE: Up reasonably early to get to the Garden Centre when it opened. Only about 8 people in front of me and in and out in 15 minutes - result. Apparently the queue was around the car park by 10:30 so worth getting up early! Planted all the plants before it got too hot. Watched Modern Masters: Andy Warhol - which was very interesting! Painted the electricity and gas cupboards on the outside wall... even though it was in shade it was still more than hot enough! Ate Rose's Charbonnel et Walker Sea Salt Caramel Milk Chocolate bar - which was amazing, as well it should be since it costs 2.5 times as much as Hotel Chocolat Caramarvelous! Also watched MAFS Australia.
WED: Dyed Rose's hair... then cleaned the bathroom! Made more shortbread biscuits. Watched Modern Masters: Picasso. Watered plants. Hottest day so far... bah! Watched MAFS Australia.
THU: Gave the electric and gas cupboards a second coat of paint first thing, but even then it was too hot and I could barely look at the white paint for the glare. Made some scones with the last tiny bit of butter we had left - which were awesome. Watched 'The Captive City' (1952). Saw the Mums, Kirsty and Steve. Watched MAFS Australia.
FRI: Got up later, probably due to late (and hot) night. A bit cooler and windy today (hurrah!). Went to B&Q to pick up wood and various DIY supplies. Watched 'A Woman's Vengeance' (1948), also watched MAFS Australia. Obviously!
SAT: Back to ASDA, bit of a longer queue this week - don't know why. Spent most of the day doing the bedroom window panels and frame. Watched MAFS Australia. Found the second series of the 'Great Interior Design Challenge on 'Putlocker'. Baked a Victoria Sandwich.
SUN: Finished off the bedroom window. Defrosted the freezer. Watched MAFS Australia.
MON: Woke up feeling like shit (better than Rose who didn't get to sleep at all - neighbour's dog barking all night). Watched more MAFS. Back to work in the morning...
