MEAL OUT: Grey Goose (Gilmorton)

Another trip to the Goose, this time to celebrate Sally's birthday. Service was okay, but a bit slow. Food was great though. Rose and I both had steaks and I had Choc Fudge Cake for pudding, while Rose had sorbet and ice cream.

GU Mango cheesecake and raspberries with mango and kiwi fruit numbers! 

SHOPPING: Bicester Village

Another trip to Bicester, taking in Radley, Kate Spade, Kath Kidston, TAG Heuer and Mont Blanc. Spent quite a while in TAG Heuer, trying on various different watches, including the Monaco 24 (again), a Grand Carrera, an Aquaracer Calibre S and a horrible Link Quartz thing.

But shock of the day was our visit to L'Atelier, where I tried on a Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Extreme, which was pretty cool with a moving chapter ring controlled by pressing in the top pusher.

Meanwhile Rose laid out £1742 on the spot for this stunning Oris Atelier Skeleton with diamond bezel (reduced from £2600). Rose has always wanted a skeleton and this was just perfect and too good a deal to turn down. As Rose said if she hadn't bought it she would have regretted it when she got home.
